Comrat

A customer support inbox for your Telegram bot.

A Telegram bot can give customers a place to ask your business questions. Comrat receives the bot's conversations in your inbox and prepares replies from your agent's instructions, with human review available before anything is sent.

What you need to connect

You need a Telegram bot and its token from BotFather. This is a bot integration, not access to your personal Telegram profile. Comrat verifies the bot token and registers a webhook so new messages can reach the workspace.

Set up Telegram in Comrat

  1. Create a bot with BotFather on Telegram, or use an existing bot you control.
  2. Open Settings in Comrat, choose Telegram and paste the bot token into the connection form.
  3. Once connected, send your bot a test question from Telegram.
  4. Add accurate business instructions, review the resulting draft in Comrat and send a reply back to the customer.

A practical customer reply

A customer asks the bot how to get started with your service. Give your agent the current onboarding steps and the right support contact. Review whether the draft answers the question, particularly when the customer needs account-specific help that your instructions cannot provide.

New workspaces use Approval mode: review the draft, edit it if necessary and send it yourself. Optional Auto mode lets Comrat send replies automatically and applies to the whole workspace.

Know the limits

Connecting registers the bot's webhook with Comrat, so consider an existing bot integration before moving it. This does not import your personal chat history or operate your personal profile. The agent knows the instructions and conversation available to it, not private account details from another system.

Try it with your business instructions.

Start with a real customer question and accurate business details. Review the result before enabling automatic replies.
